Early Childhood & School Readiness Resources

CK School District is committed to making connections with local child care providers and preschools as well as with parents of children ages Birth-5 to help prepare children for kindergarten. Child care providers, preschool teachers and directors are invited to meetings in which district personnel and kindergarten teachers share classroom expectations, recent research in early childhood education and offer helpful advice to provide a smooth transition into the public school system. Locations rotate among the district office, CK kindergarten classrooms and local child care & preschool sites.
