Central Kitsap Indian Education Program

Home

The Central Kitsap School District receives Federal money to operate an educational program for our students of Native American Descent. Our grant is based upon the number of Title VII Student Eligibility Forms received. All Native American students are eligible for these services. The focus of the grant is student achievement in Kindergarten through grade 12.

During the summer, we have a one-week cultural program in which students can learn about Native American culture through the Arts. We also have opportunities for Native American students to receive assistance with summer school. We have an active parent group called CKIPAC. Once you enroll your student(s), we invite you to become a part of our group. We meet quarterly at the Jenne-Wright Administrative Building in Silverdale.
